My staff and I often receive reports from our constituents regarding affect public health and safety issues through the neighborhood boards and community associations we attend. These reports help us understand the problems and nuisances that our constituents face on a daily basis, and provide a means to provide solutions for these issues.
One issue I received from last month’s Kalihi Valley Neighborhood Board meeting involved overgrowth and an abandoned vehicle on a private property on Wilson Street. After my request for investigation was filed with Mayor Caldwell’s office, an HPD officer cermet with the property owner, who subsequently cleared the overgrowth and removed the vehicle in March.
Please contact my Constituent Services Aide Amanda Morales at 768-5073 or at email@example.com to report other public safety concerns or nuisances in your neighborhood.
